Slammin’ 4 Door!
Chevy never built a four door truck in 1966, but owner Trent Beasley wanted one to haul his grandkids around in. So he welded two ‘66 Chevy trucks together, extending the frame twenty eight inches. It’s got Air Ride Suspension and is powered with a 370 horse LS-2 Vette engine. The rear bed is made of Black Cherry from a barn that’s 150 years old. The whole project took just ten months. He added Billet Specialty Wheels with Mickey Thompson rubber… the rears are a fat twenty by fifteen. The interior is wrapped in man-made leather and includes Vintage Air and a Dakota digital dash. Plus three video screens and an Xbox for the grandkids! And the whole package is painted in Harley Davidson Cobalt Blue and Silver… to match his motorcycle. See it only on The PowerBlock November 14th & 15th.

That’s the name of this hot ’32 Ford Cabriolet! This all steel car took 8 months of work from a team across the country to become an award winning show stopper. Owners Mac & Shelly Bernd did all of the work themselves getting the car down to raw steel and The Roadster Shop in Elgin, IL did the frame work. This Ford has been stretched 2 inches, the rear fenders split and widened and the 3 piece hood was stretched 2 inches. It has a Chevy Fast Burn 385 that’s been stroked with dual Edelbrock 500 CFM carbs and easily makes 425hp. Then Randy Borcherding and the crew at Painthouse in Cypress, TX went to work creating a custom color called Red Hot Melt Down. Ron Mangus of Rialto, CA did the custom red leather interior and Hartzcloth ragtop. It’s on The PowerBlock October 17th & 18th. Check out the other cool paint jobs at PainthouseTX.com
No commentsGirls, Trucks & Boats!

Nothing beats a beautiful host, truck and boat all in one picture! This weekend Courtney has a 1955 Chevy 3100 and matching 1959 Tomahawk Ski Mate in her shop. Both are painted in Viper Red. Owner Mickey Collier found the truck three years ago, just blocks away from where he grew up. He turned to Joe Towe of Classic Cars in Hendersonville, TN where the truck was media blasted and was in far worse condition than they originally thought. They did a frame off resto and it now sits on an ’84 Chevy frame. He dropped in a 350 crate motor and a 350 transmission. The Tomahawk boat was in equally bad shape. Mickey spent 4 months restoring the fiberglass boat back to ship shape condition. It has a 40 horsepower, ’59 Johnson Super Seahorse motor and a steering wheel from a ’59 Impala! Check it all out on The PowerBlock October 3rd & 4th.
Killer Colorado
Chief warrant Officer, Chad Brown let us borrow his 2004 tricked out Chevy Colorado - What you can see is a wild flame paint job on a truck that has an impressive air ride suspension. The interior is leather with Ostrich inserts and the rear bed was raised 8 inches. What you can’t see is the 2600 watts of power that takes up the entire back seat… Chad’s truck can crank some tunes! See it for yourself on The PowerBlock July 18th & 19th.

Courtney shows off a 1966 Mercury Cyclone GT ragtop on this weekend’s PowerBlock. Owner Phil Baxter bought the car for his wife so she’d travel with him to all the car shows and cruise-ins. Phil is only the third owner of this four speed muscle car with Edelbrock heads, Hooker headers and a Performer RPM intake. The color is Candy Apple Red. Check it out on PowerBlock July 11th & 12th.
