1940’s Era Sprint Car
This is a reproduction of a 1940’s classic Sprint Car by Shaw Hot Rods in Cincinnati, Ohio! Almost everything in this street legal racer is in the vintage spirit. From the Ford Flathead that makes 150 horses to the Banjo rear end to the Coker wire wheels and the Speedway Headers. Shaw will make you a turnkey car for about $35,00 or you can do it yourself with an outfitted frame for around $6,500. It’s on The PowerBlock this weekend January 31 & February 1. Our thanks to Jerry & Dee Walker for loaning us “The Walker Special”! Check out: www.Shawhotrods.com

Check out this wild mini-truck built by Eric Saliba! Eric owns The Little Shop of Horrors and this 2001 GMC Sonoma is one of his creations. It’s been bagged, body dropped, boxed and shaved. The bed is made out of sheet metal. The spikes in the rear speak for themselves and you can see them on The PowerBlock January 24 & 25. YearOne President Kevin King returns to The PowerBlock with the finished Superbird and he’ll tell you how to bid on it! This sexy clone of the ’70 Winger Wonder similar to the one Richard Petty drove heads to Barrett-Jackson next week where it will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. All the proceeds will go to the Darrell Gwyn Foundation. The completion of Bill Goldberg’s wild Satellite to Superbird project has been a labor of love for all involved. We’ll keep you updated on the auction outcome. For more on how the Darrell Gwynn Foundation buys wheelchairs for children with spinal cord injuries go to: www.darrellgwynnfoundation.org
