Check out the ’63 Corvette Courtney has in her shop! The race heritage behind this beautiful Vette is clear, but the pedigree of the mystery car is unclear. Owner Eric Saloom always dreamed of having a ’63 Vette. The day he drove home in his new baby he found out his wife was expecting their first baby! The car could be 1 of 199 factory built ZO6 race cars… It could be 1 of 2 factory prototypes… Or it could be a very clever clone. Nobody knows for sure. Meet the Dietzes from Texas. Kevin along with his wife, son and father joined Courtney in The PowerBlock Shop to claim their prize. Cherry Bomb owner Paul Banks presented Kevin the keys to the 2006 Cherry Bomb Charger R/T Hemi project car. Kevin was randomly selected out of over 300,000 entries. Check out this rare ’69 Shelby GT-500 Mustang! Owner Carl Phillips allowed us to show off his one of only three known ’69 Shelby’s that was converted from street car to race car. This car has raced from Road America to Mid Ohio to Michigan International Raceway from 1972 to 1979. Then it was painted blue and junked. Carl spent six years restoring it back to mint condition, dropping in a Boss 302 that makes 525 horsepower! The color is Calypso Coral. It’s one of the earliest known conversions to “B” racing specs.
